Study Tour Program for Young Russian Leaders

Aim: To make possible for Russian youth leaders to have the opportunity to meet with different organisations from non-government and government sector in Croatia, in order to find out more about the NGO reality, decision-making process, political and social situation in Croatia.

• to establish better contacts and co-operation between young Russian leaders and DYI and between young Russian leaders and other organizations in Croatia
• to create strong basis for possible future co-operation
• to give a good insight of Croatian civic and political situation, methods and tools that are used, in order to create the possibility of applying that knowledge in their working area
• to introduce institutions and decision makers both in non-government and government sectors in Croatia

Target group: In collaboration with the Youth Human Rights Movement, a prominent Russian NGO, Freedom House has selected a group of promising young Russians NGO activists, scholars and journalists to participate in study tour. 10 young leaders from different organization participate in the study tour – Youth Human Rights Movement, International Center of Social Sphere Researches, Center of Consumers Rights Defense, Research Center of Human Rights and Civic Initiatives, Procuracy of Karachaevo-Cherkessiya, Charitable Foundation "Open region", Center of Pont-Caucasian Researches, Center of Educational and Research Programs i Institute of Civil Society Problems.
